We had heard such good reviews regarding the fish and chips that are served on Fridays that we just had to find out for ourselves. What can i say other than it lived up to expectations, the fish was huge and was perfectly fried and the chips and mushy peas were very good. When you add in the reasonable prices for the beer it was all in all a great Friday tea. I would highly recommend a visit to The Sandy Cove Julian JBTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend! Sandy Cove has become our staple diet for Sunday lunch, so many choices of veg and the meats are done to perfection. We ventured into the Kebab Zone on Friday and were equally impressed, chicken tikka on homemade naan with lots of fresh salad, homemade chips like they used to be! Staff are very friendly and it's great to hear the banter between them and the Mrs Sharon BurrowsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visited Sunday (half term!) for the first time. Very lucky to get a parking spot and we were warmly welcomed by the host who sorted out a problem with our booking. It was extremely busy, but there was a lovely atmosphere. The wait for the buffet was long, but well worth it. The 4 roasts were tender and cooked beautifully- I had the small plate lamb & beef...very tasty. The sides were replenished frequently. Excellent choice and again cooked beautifully! Fabulous lamb gravy too! Didn't have room for a Mr Whippy ice cream though! Thoroughly recommended - I'll be back soon. Thank you
